You're in control of what DropPost stores about you. There are two levels of deletion, depending on what you're trying to remove.
Disconnect a single platform
From your Connect Accounts page, click "Disconnect" next to any connected platform (Dropbox, Facebook, Instagram, X, or TikTok). This immediately and permanently deletes that platform's stored access credentials from our database. DropPost will no longer be able to read from or post to that account until you reconnect it.
Delete your entire account
To delete your DropPost account and all associated data, email support@droppost.ai from the email address on your account and request account deletion. We'll confirm your identity and process the request within 30 days. This permanently deletes:
- Your account and login information;
- Every connected platform's stored credentials;
- Your posting history and generated captions;
- Your AI usage records.
We retain billing records where required by law (for example, for tax purposes), even after an account is deleted.
What we don't control
Deleting your DropPost account removes DropPost's access to the platforms you connected and deletes the credentials we stored — it does not delete content already published to Facebook, Instagram, X, or TikTok, or affect your account directly with those platforms. To remove a specific post, or to close your account on one of those platforms, use that platform's own tools.
