Questions, answered without the software jargon.
Search the most common questions about connections, captions, approvals, publishing, billing, and account control.
What platforms are supported?
DropPost is currently designed around Dropbox as the content source and Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok as publishing destinations.
How does the AI captioning work?
When a new photo or video enters the connected workflow, DropPost can analyze the content and generate a caption. The exact AI provider can depend on the account setting.
Do I need to keep Dropbox open?
No. After the Dropbox connection is authorized, DropPost is designed to respond to the connected folder without you keeping the Dropbox app or website open.
What happens if a post fails?
The post is recorded with an error state. In the portal, you can see which platform failed, review the error message, and retry the failed destination.
Can I review a caption before it is posted?
Yes. Approval Mode can require your review before publishing. You can edit the caption and then approve or reject the item.
What does it cost?
Final plan names and prices are still being set. The Pricing page already supports three easily relabeled tiers and the portal is designed for Stripe billing.
What if a social account disconnects?
DropPost shows a reconnect-needed banner and can notify you by email. Publishing to that destination remains paused until it is reconnected.
Does DropPost store my social passwords?
No. The existing privacy policy states that platform authorization happens through the platform and DropPost stores the access credentials issued to the service, encrypted at rest.
Can I disconnect a platform?
Yes. The Connect Accounts page includes a Disconnect action for each integration.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. The Settings page includes a danger zone and the Data Deletion page explains the current deletion process.
